Our Products

We raise our chickens well in excess of the strictest standards. They're treated humanely (dare we say pampered?), raised on pasture with plenty of open space and bugs and grass to forage in addition to supplemental feed free of soy and GMO's. No hormones or antibiotics, of course. USDA - inspected, processed locally, and offered from field to table same day. You can taste the difference in quality and freshness.

The pride and joy of MRF are our pampered, pastured, laying hens and varied flock. The ladies have continual access to fresh air, sunshine, excellent supplemental feed and all the bugs and grass they can eat as we move them regularly to fresh pastures. Pampered hens make nutritionally-enriched, flavorful, beautiful eggs you will love!

MRF is a no-till, regenerative farm focused on sustainability and producing excellent compost and soils high in organic matter. Ensuring the soil is vibrant and nutrient-rich yields high quality and great tasting produce! Rainwater irrigation, TLC and sunshine with no artificial fertilizers or pesticides produce an ongoing, rotating supply of amazing goodness for you to enjoy. Additionally, our food forests and orchards contain many unique edibles!

We adore raising chicks through to maturity with abundant TLC from the entire MRF clan. So much so that chicken math gets the better of us and we often have pullets and layers available as early as 8 weeks. We pamper our chicks and in return have beautiful, healthy, happy birds! From time to time, MRF has shetland sheep and lambs available as well. Our colorful flocks enjoy all the green greatness rotationally grazing our pastures has to offer.

In compost produced on-site, a wide variety of beautiful and colorful flowers grow! What was once forgotten yard space is now irrigated with rainwater captured from our rooftops, and fed by sunshine, loving hands and incredible soil to produce vibrancy and joy by the stem or bouquet. Allowing pastures to rest and keeping woodlots undisturbed means plenty of wildflowers join in the fun too!

Our Shetlands carry a beautiful fleece we have processed at a small family-owned mill after shearing. Heathers and solid color yarns from a creamy white to nearly black are available while supplies last. Occasionally we have wearables and other items handcrafted at MRF from our fleece available!

We care for our lambs from birth, raising them on organic pasture with lots of sun, fresh air, and clean water to create the healthiest, most delicious lamb possible. Our shetlands are a small, heritage dual - purpose breed that when coupled with rotational grazing, allows us to naturally birth and rear them, free from antibiotics and dewormers, exclusively and entirely grass fed AND FINISHED.
